Santa Fe Innovates’ Ideation Process and Program 2021

Do you have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur? Join our ideation program and find out! Santa Fe Innovates’ five-week program begins Monday, April 12, 2021. The program curriculum includes an online learning platform, a virtual community, Saturday workshops, and mentoring sessions.

Community

We believe a successful program requires a community of experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders that listen, challenge, suggest and guide. Our mentoring community will be there with you throughout the process and program. We have also created a virtual community known as Go Social Entrepreneurs as a place to share ideas, connect with other like-minded individuals, and most importantly, learn from one another.

Program

Our program uses Lean startup and Lean Canvas concepts and tools to explore, iterate, and validate your idea. The emphasis is on reducing risks and gaining traction, goals essential for every startup. The program includes Saturday workshops, mentoring sessions, and online videos, readings, and templates to support your work effort. We begin with a focus on the actual problems faced by the customer rather than perceived solutions. This is known as achieving a problem-solution fit. We make the case that business models should be built systematically with a customer-first approach that demonstrates traction, evidence that customers care about your idea. In reality, the business model, not the solution, is the product. More information on the program is available here.

Incentives

The final week of our program wraps up with an idea pitch. The top two ideas, as determined by our review panel, will receive incentives such as financial support for business costs, market research expertise and market report development, access to co-working space, access to Bootstart on Leanstack for 60 days and access to our mentoring community. Also, we are offering incentives for all who fully complete the designated Foundation and Ideation modules and wish to continue forward with their startup ideas. The incentives include access to Bootstart on Leanstack and access to our mentoring community. More detailed information about the incentives is available here.
